Vendor Code of Conduct
Purpose This Vendor Code of Conduct (“Code”) outlines the principles and expectations that Servexo requires its subcontractors (“Vendors”) to adhere to when conducting business. The goal is to ensure ethical, sustainable, and professional practices that align with Servexo’s values and standards.
- Compliance with Laws and Regulations Vendors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances. This includes, but is not limited to, laws concerning labor, health and safety, environmental protection, and anti-corruption.
- Ethical Business Practices
- Integrity and Honesty: Vendors must conduct their business with integrity and transparency. Fraud, bribery, and other unethical practices are strictly prohibited.
- Conflict of Interest: Vendors must disclose any potential or actual conflicts of interest to Servexo.
- Confidentiality: Vendors must protect Servexo’s confidential and proprietary information and use it solely for the purposes defined in their contract.
- Labor and Human Rights
- Fair Treatment: Vendors must treat their employees with dignity and respect, ensuring a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and abuse.
- Wages and Benefits: Vendors must pay employees in accordance with applicable wage laws, including minimum wages, overtime, and mandated benefits.
- Child and Forced Labor: Vendors must not use child labor or forced labor under any circumstances.
- Freedom of Association: Vendors must respect employees’ rights to associate freely, join labor unions, and engage in collective bargaining.
- Health and Safety Vendors must provide a safe and healthy working environment for their employees, including:
- Identifying and mitigating workplace hazards.
- Providing adequate safety training and equipment.
- Complying with all health and safety regulations.
- Environmental Stewardship Vendors must operate in an environmentally responsible manner, including:
- Complying with applicable environmental laws.
- Reducing waste, emissions, and resource consumption.
- Implementing sustainable practices whenever possible.
- Quality and Performance Vendors must deliver goods and services that meet or exceed the agreed-upon quality and performance standards, ensuring consistency and reliability.
- Communication Vendors must maintain clear and open lines of communication with Servexo. This includes:
- Providing timely updates on project progress and any potential issues.
- Responding promptly to inquiries and requests.
- Ensuring transparency in all communications.
- Subcontractor Management If a Vendor engages subcontractors to fulfill obligations to Servexo, the Vendor must ensure that these subcontractors also comply with the principles outlined in this Code.
- Reporting and Accountability
- Vendors must promptly report any violations or suspected violations of this Code to Servexo.
- Servexo reserves the right to audit Vendor compliance and take appropriate action, including termination of the business relationship, if a Vendor fails to meet the standards outlined in this Code.
Acknowledgment By conducting business with Servexo, Vendors agree to adhere to this Code of Conduct. Servexo expects its Vendors to take proactive measures to ensure compliance and to promote ethical and sustainable practices throughout their operations.
